The Upcycle vs Recycle
When I first started my Blogger blog about recycling, I thought recycling included making anything discarded and turning it into a new item
Well, it seems I was wrong and I admit it!
Upcycling is transforming an old disused item into a new and usable and even transforming it into a saleable item
While there may be those who upcycle just for the pleasure of knowing they are doing their bit to help save the environment, there will be others who sell the finished item as well as gain the same pleasure
Only recently I saw a photograph of an upcycled item made from disused wooden pallets, which had been turned into a plant holding troughs that could be fattened to a garden fence
Someone else displayed a garden chair made from wooden pallets, with instructions on how to make your own
Although I don’t know whether either item was on sale if the instructions were to be free, or whether there was a fee to pay
One novel idea I came across, made full use of upcycling, by using empty drinks cans and drilling and placing them together to make solar panels, the finished items became a green product for sale
Because of the amount of time involved in refining and producing finished ready-to-use solar panels
Someone I met through eBay produced mood drums from empty calor gas drums but decided to produce further drums without the use of those drums which were inclined too heavy as a practical musical instrument
Sometime later while visiting Moseley village they had a farmer’s market and arts and crafts stalls too
With one where they had somehow flattened glass bottles, still with the label on and some had been converted into clocks
These are just a few items that used the upcycle method, if you know of any others, please leave details in the comment box to help would-be enterprising up-cyclers
Get Paid to Watch Videos!
The Truth
Not as simple or rewarding as promoted
It sounds really appealing especially if you already watch videos on YouTube
Sadly, the videos you watch to earn money are nothing like the entertaining videos on YouTube!
In fact, the “Get Paid to Watch Videos” are geared to sell something and vary in length, without stating how long they are
With preconceived ideas to gain payment, you are forced to watch each video from beginning to end
The other downside is the low payment threshold as opposed to the length; of time you spend watching them
You may end up also buying something due to the sales pitch contents of the videos
Phone Scammers
Recently I had been online and had chosen to purchase something that sounded interesting.
But for some reason, the payment failed to go through, which left me expecting a phone call from my bank to question if I had intended to buy or if I had been scammed
Just at that moment, the phone rang and a recorded message said my card had been used to make two payments of a large amount
Then instructed me to “Press One to speak to an advisor” Fortunately I was not asked for the full card details and at some point in the conversation I was told they would close my account and set up a new one.
But when I was told that I needed to go to my bank and make a withdrawal I realised this was a scam and ended the call
As if my bank account had just been closed there would be no way to withdraw money
Feeling a little foolish for even falling for the “Speak to one of our advisors” ploy
I felt it my duty to warn my readers to beware of this scam and provide details
I found the phone number on my phone display and used “who called me” with these results
020 3996 4044 is a landline number that has been identified as a credit card scam, located in London (UK)
The summary of detected keywords found in the reports is as follows: scam (4 times), credit card (2 times),
credit (2 times), bank (1 time), recorded message (1 time)
Overall statistics User Reputation: Negative Number of searches: 80

The Secret to Success
No matter what your definition of success is, it will require ACTION!
Without ACTION nothing will happen, there will be no success
Example: If you buy a brand-new car with all the latest features, and then never learn how to drive (lack of action) or never bother to pass the driving test, again (lack of action)
Another example: If you wanted to publish your own book, you first need to research and write the contents (if you do all of this you will have taken Action
Similarly to this, if you really want to make money online, Research is needed (Action) and Advertising Promotion (Action) Which need to be done daily
There are many 100% offers advertised on the internet, which are aimed mostly at newbies and those who want the push-button type of action, as this bypasses the need to learn by sometimes making mistakes
Mistakes are an essential part of any learning process, as without mistakes you will never have any chance of improvement, and therefore little hope of success
Also, the 100% done-for-you systems, will never be yours and you will have never really achieved anything to be proud of.
You will have nothing you can add your name to
Yes, you may make money through a 100% system, but to my thinking just making money is too shallow to be a worthwhile achievement
I prefer to help others achieve success, which is my reason for publishing this article post
My new motto: Inspire – Encourage – Help

Why Bother Learning skills?
With any skill, you can provide value which can in turn lead to others paying you money
While it is true the more skills you learn, the more values you can then provide.
It is advisable to choose just one new skill and acquire all the knowledge to become an expert in that subject before moving on to a new subject
For example, subjects are often referred to as niches these are focused subjects
In the case of internet marketing, you can learn how to build a blog, how to do copywriting, how to build a list etc, and you can teach these skills and build more followers.
Once you can identify problems within your chosen niche, having acquired knowledge you should be able to provide solutions for each problem
With every solution, you will be adding value which in turn will bring in paying customers
Do you know how to find out what is Trending?
Finding out will not only give you new ideas but also help you ways to help others and in the process increase your potential income
Google Trends used to be helpful in finding profitable niches, but having recently tested it out, I found no help at all
I will update this information if and when I find another website that helps
Affiliates Marketers Chosen Sites
When it comes to affiliate marketing many affiliates think of only a few websites to help them earn commission payments
Some affiliates will just stick to using one website when there are many other sites that welcome affiliates
ClickBank – For people wanting to promote digital products such as eBooks & courses then ClickBank is the go-to site for that. Generally, digital products have higher product margins since there are no shipping or handling fees and as a result, several of the products on ClickBank pay out huge commissions. There are products on there to suit almost any niche, but there are a few on there that I’ve found to be lacking value.
Commission Junction – This works hand in hand with ClickBank which means if you are already a ClickBank affiliate the CJ platform will enhance your success
eBay Partner Network – Again, just like the Amazon program that was mentioned above – this is not a network, but an affiliate program in itself. It’s most likely already aware of how huge eBay is so having the ability to earn commissions by promoting products through eBay is a great opportunity which is why I have listed it
Amazon Associates – This is an affiliate program in itself as opposed to a network, but the reason I listed it is that it’s so huge. By joining the Amazon affiliate program (named Amazon Associates) you have the ability to promote nearly enough all products through the whole Amazon network, which can be an amazing opportunity depending on your niche.
Amazon affiliate problems:
Amazon cookie only lasts 24 hours unlike 30 days with other programs. This means that your prospect will need to make a purchase within 24 hours of clicking your link for you to be credited a commission for the sale.
Warning: Amazon will remove you as their affiliate if you have not gained any sales within 3 months!
Amazon & Clickbank include a warning of your affiliate status, decreasing your chances of earning a commission
