The mere thought of running an online business can make a lot of people shudder

What with all the expenses of ongoing hosting!

Where the accepted length is at least 3 years online before your site will be regonised

To stand any chance of Google ranking your site

Of course, you also need a Domain name, ongoing expense is needed as the domain name has to be renewed yearly

Even the setup is not as easy as many would have you believe, especially if you want to make full use of WordPress plugins. Which can only be used if you upgrade to a business status

So, is it any wonder so many shy away from setting up a business, instead they go for becoming an affiliate marketer?

Sadly, even affiliate marketing is not as simple as you may have been told, in fact, many more people fail at affiliate marketing than succeed

Unless you are affiliated with a company that provides you with assorted promotional tools, such as capture pages, prewritten splash pages and emails, that you just copy and paste

Although your chances of succeeding are far better than someone without promotional tools because there will be many others using the same system and tools

You will be competing against all the other users unless you learn how to set yourself apart from the crowd of other users

But is being an affiliate even close to a business, let alone setting up your own business?

The answer is “ONLY” if treated as a BUSINESS and Not a hobby
