Have You Been Funnelled?

If you have ever bought something for $5 or $7, chances you just entered a progressive sales funnel

I know this to be true, because I have been through too many funnel systems, and found myself drawn deeper into the funnel and spending vastly more than intended

The reason for this is that the marketers who set up these funnel sales pages, know exactly how to produce each page within the funnel so it drags you further down the rabbit hole

Thus, spending or they may say investing money, to be able to finally make money online

The most effective ones have video presentations of whatever they are selling, but they also include written long sales letters for those who prefer to read rather than watch video

As the videos are generally as lengthy and time-consuming as the written contents, I personally go for the written version as I can scroll to the very bottom of the page to find out what the item is going to cost me

At which point I stopped buying once I had bought the cheap item at the top of the funnel unless I thought any of the following items were worth paying for

Most times there had to be extra bonus items included before I considered purchasing more items

I had finally learned to recognise a funnel system by becoming the person who could sell rather than buy stuff, by acquiring a business website and learning how money was really made

Although I still get caught in the funnel webs and allow myself to be dragged further into the funnel than I should, having gained the knowledge of how they work

These days I allow myself to venture into these funnels, so I will be able to review recommend or criticize the item or service in an honest review
